Welcome to the Woodburn Fire Department 


Station 50, Warren County, Ky.



   The Woodburn Fire Department, established in 1962, serves southern Warren County, Ky. About 25 volunteers responding from two stations provide fire, rescue and first responder services, averaging more than 400 calls a year.  Our coverage area is approximately 50 sq. mi. and with a population well over 10,000.  WFD covers everything from subdivisions to farmland to commercial properties.  WFD has a ISO rating of a class 5.

   WFD is funded primarily through dues paid by district members, support from Warren Fiscal Court and through an annual ice cream supper in August and a pancake breakfast in the spring.

 Station 1 is located at 900 Woodburn-Allen Springs, Woodburn. Station 2 is located at 7055 Nashville Road, Bowling Green.

Annual Christmas Parade

Calling all floats, tractors and classic cars (and anyone else who wants to participate). Celebrate the season with the annual Woodburn Christmas Parade, Lineup will be at the Woodburn Ball Park at 11:30, parade starts at noon.This year we will be collecting new, unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots.

Annual Meeting

The WFD Annual Meeting will be Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2023, at 7 p.m. at Station 2. The meeting will include annual reports and election of board members. All residents of the fire district are invited.

Looking for members

Want to make a difference in your community? Become a member of the Woodburn Fire Department. Applications are available from this website, or feel free to join us for our monthly meetings on the first Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. at station 2.


As of Jan. 1, 2021, the Woodburn Fire Department is a ISO Class 5 department for residents living within 5 miles of our stations. That could mean savings on your homeowners insurance.

Call Bowling Green Fire Dispatch at 270-393-4000 to report your control burn before you start.
